A creative retreat for inspiration, rejuvenation & cross-pollination.
MISSION
Art Farm at West Dry Creek is a retreat and residency program on the west side of Healdsburg, California’s Dry Creek Valley, offering artists, regenerative farmers, and community members a respite from daily life and a space to create, connect, and innovate around ecosystem health and climate solutions.
VISION
What essential conversations arise when artists and farmers who are focused on systems change break bread together? What inspiration, innovation, and collaboration ignite? This is the question behind the vision of Art Farm. Through residencies and educational programming, artists and farmers receive strategic support that augments, accelerates, and helps to disseminate their work, while community programming explores the interwoven nature of both and their essential role in the health of humanity and the planet.
CULTURE
The culture of Art Farm is rooted in curiosity, creativity, diversity, and a shared connection to cultural and agricultural health. As a small, intentionally designed nonprofit, we bring together artists and farmers who are pushing creative and agricultural boundaries, believing that a mix of perspectives, experience, and approach is essential for innovation. Every resident is invited to engage with the local community and the soil in some way, reinforcing our values of reciprocity and regeneration. With support from experts, studio visits, and lasting alumni connections, Art Farm is built to be a living, evolving ecosystem where ideas, relationships, and creativity continue to grow long after a residency, workshop, or visit ends.
